2022 - 2023 Winter Season welcomes some new teams and new team names!
Congratulations to Confusion for winning the 2022-2023 season with a solid 435.5 points, easily leading the field and had two members compete in the Singles Step Ladder Final!
After a shaky start to the season with an injured player, Spare Squad secured two new players and finished in second place with 428 points.
Last years champions, the Alley Cats finished in third place this year, and their team captain, Daren climbed the ladder during the Singles Step Ladder Final from 5th seed to winning the trophy! He has kindly donated his Tele-Coach Digital Experience to team mate Kirstie Western.
Although playing on sports patterns, this season has seen some high games with Dave Whiffin of Confusion rolling a near perfect game of 298 and Jenny Dew of Cool Runnings rolling a high 274 game for the ladies.
We changed the format of the Trident Cup slightly this year, with two rounds of qualifying before going into the knockout stages and Cool Runnings battled their way to the final, taking home the trophy. Incrediballs followed in 2nd place and Deserters in 3rd. Well done to all teams, it's great to see different teams winning each year!
Congratulations to the Alley Cats for winning the 2021-2022 league season! Well done Daren Knightsbridge, Matt Arney, Scott Love and Kirstie Western for winning an incredible 262 points!
Cool Runnings held up second place with 238.5 and the Deserters in third with 233.5, well bowled everyone!
Congratulations to Vicky Knightsbridge, Liam Harris and Lee Shillingford of Spare Squad for taking home the Trident Cup trophy!
They successfully beat MAABOF, Deserters and Tonardoes in the knockout rounds and had a high scratch singles game of 288!
The Trident Cup also saw some high Scotch and Baker games this season witha high Scotch Doubles of 279 for Cliff Dew and Jenny Swift and a perfect Baker Trios game of 300 by Paul Shouler, James Denvil and Ryan Mitchener of the Deserters!
